In the June quarter, we released new features on the Mable platform making it easier for Support Coordinators and Care Managers to manage their clients support, and meet their regulatory and compliance responsibilities. Downloadable Worker Details You can now view and download dozens of worker qualifications and details like their language and cultural identification in one easy location, from your Mable dashboard’s Compliance section. Fast payments, better cash flow and peace of mind: 10-Day Payments
The 10-Day Payments feature was launched to help support workers manage their business on Mable and cash flow. In order to receive 10-Day Payments, support workers must meet the eligibility requirements. If eligible, support workers will receive payment for all their invoiced support in 10 days or less (from approval of their support hours). How 10-Day Payments is working for support workers on Mable We reached out to support workers on Mable to ask them how 10-Day Payments is helping them run their business better. Shorter wait times for payments Support workers like Catherine are happy that they don’t have to wait as long to receive payment, adding that 10 days is a ‘reasonable’ time frame. She says, “7-14 days is a respectable time frame in which to be paid. For the month of July 2023, here are the new features on Mable that will make your experience of using the platform even easier. Invoice per kilometre travel on Mable Many support workers offer travel as part of their support services. With this feature, support workers can now invoice for their travel per kilometre (Travel Rates). Start by logging in to your Mable account . For potential new clients, support workers must first discuss and agree on the travel rate and then add it to their agreement. Once your client agrees to the rate, travel is added as an option when submitting your support hours for payment. For existing clients, support workers should amend their agreement and add the travel rate option. Make sure you discuss this with your client before adding it to the agreement. Please note the travel rate is capped at $2.76 per kilometre on Mable as per the guidance provided in the NDIS 202
