Your data is secure

At Mable, we are ISO 27001 certified. This means the security measures we have in place for our community are internationally recognised and have been verified by an independent assessment authority.

Secure online platform

Authentication is required to access our online platform at all times. Verbal or written consent is also required to discuss your personal information with anyone other than yourself.

Payments

We facilitate safe payments between government-funded schemes, providers, and our community. Records of all payments can be accessed in your Mable profile.

Blocking

People using Mable can block other people from contacting them on the platform at any time, at their own discretion.

NDIS Support Worker Screening Checks

An NDIS Support Worker Screening Check must be supplied when signing up to Mable. It has different names and processes in each state and territory: the check's name, steps, and costs vary depending on where you live. It's valid across Australia: even with local differences, the check is a national tool and is valid for 5 years everywhere in Australia.

Working with Children Check

All support workers on Mable who intend to provide support to people under the age of 18 hold a WWCC. We ensure that no one can provide services to minors once they have expired.

Certification checks

We verify every qualification and certification listed by independent support workers under the “Qualifications and Services Offered” section of their profile for compliance and quality assurance.

Infection control training

Support workers on Mable have to complete mandatory COVID-19 infection control training with the Department of Health which is verified by our team before they can provide support work on the platform.

Australian Business Number (ABN)

The requirement of an Australian Business Number (ABN) means the independent support workers on our platform are recognised as legitimate businesses by the Australian Government.

Insurance

For your peace of mind and protection, we’ve partnered with HMD Insurance Pty Limited to bring you a suite of insurances. This insurance is underwritten by AXIS Syndicate 1686 at Lloyd’s and Canopius Australia.

Mable’s insurance offers coverage to support workers for all approved support sessions booked and invoiced through Mable.

Public and Products Liability

This includes personal injury, property damage or advertising liability.

Group Personal Accident (inc journey insurance)

This includes accidents that occur during a meet and greet, travel to or from, or during an agreed support session.

Professional Indemnity and Medical Malpractice

This includes malpractice, and civil liability.
